2005 Career Achievement Awards
September 2005 – December 2005
Quality Support, Inc. provided on-site logistical event planning support for the USPTO 2005 Career Achievement Awards, which honored federal employees with 10 and 20 years of outstanding service and was attended by the Under Secretary of Commerce and other high-ranking officials. We were responsible for the overall management of the awards ceremonies and receptions, including synchronization with the Under Secretary’s schedule; scheduling use of facilities; arranging for and coordinating photographers, sign language interpreters, announcers, PTO volunteers, and performers; scheduling of the Honor Guard; and submitting a list of nominees to the Under Secretary for approval. Quality Support also ordered award certificates, booklets, and frames; arranged for audio/visual equipment, catering, flowers, banners, and posters; assisted in the preparation and mailing of invitations and collection of responses; created name badges, and sign-in sheets.
2006 Bronze Medal Awards

Quality Support, Inc. provided on-site logistical event planning support for the USPTO 2006 Bronze Medal Awards Ceremony, which recognizes the contributions and years of service PTO employees have given to the Agency. The Bronze Medal ceremony is dedicated to employee recognition at the Under Secretary level. The ceremony was attended by the Under Secretary of Commerce and other high-ranking officials. We were responsible for the overall management of the awards ceremonies and following receptions, including synchronization with the Under Secretary’s schedule, scheduling use of facilities, coordination of a photographer, sign language interpreter, and performers, scheduling of the Honor Guard, and submission of a list of nominees to the Under Secretary for approval. The final week of 2005, Quality Support, Inc. produced 500 compact disks containing the USPTO Annual Report, including labels and cases, to be distributed to staff.
